Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe's 'Elective
Affinities' [ send
me this paper ] 3 pages in length. It is by no mistake that
fidelity is one of the most challenging of all matrimonial vows to uphold,
inasmuch as Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe's Elective Affinities asserts the
fact that humankind is but another animal who is bound by the call of
nature. The writer discusses a most unsettling aspect of the human
condition: remaining faithful to one's partner. No additional sources
cited. Filename: ElecAffn.wps
Euthanasia [ send
me this paper ] A 3 page thesis driven paper which addresses the
subject of euthanasia as is presented in one particular essay. The essay
under examination is “Active and Passive Euthanasia,” written by James
Rachels. The essay was very convincingly written and argued by Rachels,
and the author clearly illustrated the many possibilities that are, or
could be, involved in the decision to perform one or the other type of
euthanasia. Although many feel it is morally wrong to commit active
euthanasia, often it is a much more morally correct choice than passive
euthanasia. Rachels argues this and this paper agrees. No additional
sources cited. Filename:

"Invisibility" and Homosexuality
[ send
me this paper ] A 5 page discussion of the phenomenon of becoming
"invisible" as a means of dealing with societal prejudice. Examines the
choice of some homosexuals to keep their homosexuality restrained.
Concludes that invisibility only causes tremendous ambivalence and
distress, and reiterates the contentions of the film "Torchsong Trilogy"
that self-hatred is the greatest enemy of the gay world. Invisibility is
as much victimization as is a hate crime which targets homosexuals. It is,
however, a victimization in which the victim is also the perpetrator.
